Spring Break 2009

Well Spring Break is over. We took a couple of day adventures during the week and cleaned house the rest of the time trying to get ready for Easter. On Tuesday, we took the girls to the Fair and discovered that Mary is getting quite adventurous when it comes to rides. She rode the kiddie Free Fall. I think Rayghen was just there for the food.



On Thursday, we met Peggy, Shannon, and Patrick Rowan at Sea-World. Our family had breakfast with Elmo. Rayghen wasn't thrilled. She doesn't really like the characters up close and personal. Mary still loves the Sesame Street characters like she does the Disney characters. Rayghen's favorite show was the Pet's Ahoy show. She loves anything to do with real animals.



Spring Break ended with an Easter celebration at our house with Bill's family. We ate, and ate, and ate, and ate. The girls enjoyed an Easter egg hunt in the backyard with their cousins. I didn't get a picture of the girls in their Easter dresses but I'm planning a photo shoot and I'll post those pictures as soon as I take them.

Mary's 4th Birthday

Thank you to everyone who helped make Mary's birthday more special. She truly enjoyed herself and I think many of the kids did too. Many of you wonder why I do have huge parties for my children. I love to make our girls feel special on their birthday. Their birthday is also special to me because for years we didn't think we would ever have children and now God has blessed us with two beautiful little girls who keep us hopping every day. As with all children, they touch everyone's heart in a special way. So our celebrations help us to celebrate what God has given us.
